Job Description

Mission Statement:

 

The NAM Quality Manager within Linxon will be an accomplished quality professional who will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the quality control and quality assurance systems and procedures for our NAM business and to ensure top notch quality in proposal and project execution.

You’ll work as a key part of our Linxon NAM HUB team, which serves utility, industrial, and commercial customers with EPC solutions to help distribute electricity efficiently and reliably, maintain power quality, and control and manage electrical networks.

 

 

 

Dimensions:

 

Linxon is managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects internationally.

 

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Review current Linxon Quality Management systems, identify deficiencies, and develop improvement plan.
  • Implement an enhanced QMS system for our NAM business with clear procedures and an effective document management system. Manage ISO 9001 internal and external audit and certification processes.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Project Management functions to improve engineering and construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures. Conduct periodical audits to ensure compliance of such procedures.
  • Coordinate major customer quality issues, represent Linxon in customer interactions when quality performance is concerned, and act as a guardian of Linxon’s quality standards.
  • Work with Linxon’s external suppliers to resolve supplier quality issues, and define improvement plans.
  • Support the SCM team in supplier qualification and audits.
  • Analyze customer feedback received from Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other channels, identify systematic issues, and define and implement strategy and action plan for improvements.
  • Own the Customer Complain Resolution Process (CCRP) for Linxon NAM. Ensure timely assignment of resolution owners, timely and high-quality issue resolution with root cause analysis.
  • Improve the Cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ) program by exposing hidden quality costs and relentlessly driving down cost of poor quality.
  • Improve the Continuous Improvement (CI) capability and culture of Linxon’s NAM organization by conducting trainings and coaching.
  • Work with management to set Quality and Operational Excellence priorities and targets, monitor progress, analyze the KPIs and act on deviations from targets.
  • Drive business improvement programs and ensure alignment with Linxon’s operational excellence strategies and priorities.
  • Participate in project reviews and business reviews, share accountability, as a member of the NAM management team, for delivery of business results.
  • Ensure monthly data collection and reporting in Quality for the unit.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • University level education in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • 6 years of experience in a senior Quality or Continuous Improvement function ideally in the EPC environment.
  • Experience in turnkey project/system business.
  • External Quality Certification or Registration (e.g. Chartered)
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Fluency in English – both written and spoken
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred) a plus
